Our Dog Friendly Hotel Policy

Doggie Digs Rules

As a dog friendly hotel in Scotland, we are delighted that you have chosen to bring your dog with you. Every holiday is made better with your dog by your side and there are plenty of dog-friendly activities for you to enjoy. Dog baskets can also be provided so that your dog finishes up their holiday feeling like a pampered pooch. Do let us know in advance if we can arrange this for you.

Our doggie hotel rules

Dogs are very welcome in our guest rooms on the ground floor only, as well as the lounge and Highland bar areas if it is not too busy but they must supervised and controlled at all times. In your room we would ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and beds. Please put a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on your door or let reception know if dogs are left in the room unattended at any time.

When using hotel grounds or surrounding areas please use a dog poo bag for any fouling. Dog poo bags are also available on request at reception.

We encourage you to make the most of your walks and a messy dog is a happy one, but we kindly ask that you give your dog a good clean before going to your room.

Respecting our local community

We would ask that you please respect our local community and act responsibly when you visit. We are very lucky to have farm animals as neighbours and wonderful wildlife that often roam free around the hotel and surrounding areas. Please take a moment to visit the Scottish Outdoor Access Code which offers guidance on how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly with your dog.

Fees for doggie digs

We do charge a small cost of £15.00 per dog per night up to £60.00 per stay. This is to cover any additional cleaning.  Should we feel a deep clean is needed, or any damage is made to the room, this will be discussed with yourself and charged accordingly.

We hope that you have a wonderful stay with us and by following our hotel dog policy we can ensure all of our guests have an enjoyable stay!
