Introduction and how to help …

We are the owners of Newton Lodge, a 7-bedroom hotel with a small team of staff near Kylesku on the stunning North-West coast of Scotland.  Having just moved from Cornwall in 2018 we have worked solidly over the last 2 years re-establishing it as a business and transforming the old building into a beautiful venue to sleep, eat and drink. Covid-19 could not have come at a worse time. We are closed to all visitors at what is a critical point for hospitality businesses like ours – not able to start the season and finding ourselves without any income at all – hence our appeal outlined here.

20% Added Value – How it Works…

Crowdfunder is offering up its platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events and hotel bookings, etc, for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.  You can just donate £10, or pledge to spend a sum from £20 upwards to be redeemed against any future purchase at Newton Lodge. Whether it is booking a room, a meal or simply having a drink or two in the bar. To say a big thank you, your voucher will also include 20% added value eg: pledge £20 receive £24, pledge £30 receive £36 pledge £50 receive £60 and so on. All vouchers can be redeemed after we re-open for a period of up to 5 years.
