Restaurant & Conservatory
We collaborate with local suppliers to create exciting and authentic dishes which we evolve as the seasons change or as we discover fresh new ingredients, many of which are found right on our doorstep. Whether it’s a stop off to grab a quick but tasty bite to eat or a long leisurely lunch to take in the spectacular views, everyone is welcome.
We cater for all dietary requirements and offer vegan options (sample menus). We are dog friendly too!
Highland Bar No 4
Local beer and lager, cocktails, wine, single malts and artisan gins can be enjoyed inside or out on the deck with its fabulous loch view. You may even find yourself engaging in conversation with a local character or two as we are open to all!

The deck and outside areas are fantastic for warmer days or cosying up under the stars during the cooler months. Our skies are spectacular at night and are not to be missed. We have tables outside so that you can enjoy more of those wonderful views!
Local community
We welcome the local community with a 20% discount off all food and drink, seven days a week. Pull up a seat, make yourself known to our lovely staff and we’ll make sure you are well looked after.
Dining at Kylesku Hotel
We are also happy to book a table for guests with our fellow Highland Coast Hotels family member, Kylesku Hotel. Just a few minutes away, Kylesku Hotel offers an award-winning Scottish restaurant with wonderful fresh seafood on the menu. Tables must be pre-booked so please let us know in advance and we can arrange this for you.

WiFi
We understand how important it is to stay connected, but whilst we have an Internet Service/WIFI at Newton Lodge, please be aware that access here can be challenging due to our location as we do not yet have the benefit of a fibre connection. We have been on a satellite, but with the advent of EE in the area, we are currently trialling a new 4G router.
Whilst this new system should provide a better connection, it is not an unlimited provision as you may be used to at home and can run out if overused. As such, we kindly request that you do not download content (music, movies, photographs, TV, etc) as we may reach our capacity too early and run out of data.
As a community, we are trying to find a solution, but in the meantime, we thank you very much for your understanding. It is one of the 21st Century challenges of this beautiful and remote location.
